Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Groundman. The ideal candidate will assist crew members in setting up jobs and installing telecommunications cable while adhering to strict safety protocols. This position offers full-time employment with a 4-day workweek and competitive compensation.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist crew members as needed in various tasks related to telecommunications installation.
• Operate hand tools, trucks, and heavy machinery with precision and caution.
• Load, unload, and prepare tools, equipment, and materials as directed.
• Keep equipment organized in trucks to ensure efficiency on the job site.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures diligently to mitigate risks.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of the telecommunications and excavation industry is advantageous.
• Availability to travel overnight for job assignments.

Desirable Certifications:

• High School Dipolma/GED
• DOT Physical
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Flagger certification
• First Aid/CPR certification
• CDL

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

• Work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be capable of lifting heavy loads.
• Regularly requires to walk, stand, sit, use hands, climb, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Ability to hear over loud machinery and see long distances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
